Impress your Admin with these Easy Data Collection Tricks!

Updated: Oct 2, 2023

Hello everyone, in this video, I will be discussing easy data collection tricks to gather assessments using Google Forms. Each of my students has a specific goal, and to track their progress, you need to fill out their name at the top, add their goal to the description, and include sections that relate to their goal. For example, if a student needs to stay within boundary lines for a maximum of 30 minutes, you would add a section for participation. Additionally, you can add sections for assistance and notes.

After completing the form, you can send it to yourself via email. You can do this multiple times, and when you receive the email, you can open the form on your phone or computer. This way, you can easily take data during class without having to carry a clipboard or a large device.

Once you have collected data, you can view the responses and see the beautiful pie charts and percentages that correspond to the Google Form. You can easily transfer this data to a report or assessment by copying and pasting the information.

Overall, using Google Forms is a simple and effective way to track student progress and provide the best adapted PE program possible.
